Mark Your Calendars for International Night Friday, May 14th 5-8:30 p.m.!
Support your school, family and friends and celebrate our multi-cultural backgrounds! Tickets are $6, and $1 will be donated to Haiti. (We will also have a bucket for donations towards Chile available at the ticket counter). Food tickets will be available for purchase to try different foods from all over the world. You don’t want to miss the fantastic dance show representing the many ethnic clubs at Von Steuben!

Lottery Letters
Letters have been mailed to those incoming freshmen who were chosen by lottery. The letters went out on Friday, Mar. 12, 2010.

Important PTSA Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 16th @ 7 pm
Topics include a discussion on what the options are if your student isn't ready for college or hasn't gotten into their school of choice, but plans to get a college degree.

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is needed to apply for college financial aid! Tuesday evenings, Jan. 12- March 30, 2010 5:30- 7:30.

Purdue University Minority Engineering Program Summer Engineering Workshops
These workshops are excellent opportunities for students to investigate career possibilities in the field of Engineering and enhance their problem solving skills. Applications will close April 15th.

Chicago Coalition for the Homeless (CCH) Scholarship
$2,000 college scholarships for tuition, books and supplies will be awarded to graduating seniors during summer 2010 by the CCH. Recommendation towards application must be submitted by Friday, May 14, 2010. Also a FAFSA application must be submitted by May 1, 2010.

National Testing Day
This is a unique opportunity for students to put their skills to the test by taking a full-length, practice ACT or SAT under actual testing conditions. National Testing Day takes place on March 20th, 2010.
