Phillips Academy Andover Summer Session
The Phillips Academy Summer Session is an intense academic enrichment program that brings students together from all over the world for five weeks of study to Andover, Massachusetts on the campus of Phililips Academy, the oldest incorporated boarding school in the United States. Students spend 3 hours per day in class, six days a week, and have close to three and a half hours of homework each night. while the academic life is demanding, students have time to enjoy weekend activities, dances, and excursions as well as to meet students form across the United States and from around the world. The Summer Session is an academically intense experience that is neither a remedial program nor a summer camp. It should be the student's choice to attend. University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign GAMES Summer Camp
Girls in Math, Engineering, and Science (GAMES) Camp is a week-long residential summer program for academically talented rising 9th-12th grade girls. GAMES is held on the University of Illinois at Urbana campus.These programs are designed to expose intelligent young women to engineering and scientific fields through demonstrations, classroom presentations, hands-on activities, and contacts with female faculty and other professional women in these fields.This approach proves to be very successful in developing brilliant young minds, and in encouraging these students to continue pursuing an education in a STEM field. Splash! Northwestern University
Try Out College
for a Day!
Ever wonder what quantum mechanics is all about? Do you want to learn how to
cook Korean food? Would you like to learn Irish dancing or explore the physics
of iceskating?
If so, you should come to Splash! is an educational enrichment program at Northwestern University. For one Saturday in March, YOU are invited to come to the Northwestern Campus to take
classes taught by Northwestern students.
Splash is open to all students in grades 9-12!
Splash! 2012 will be held on March 31, 2012 on the Northwestern Campus from
9am until 6pm. Registration for the program is open from now through March 30.
Cost: $10 (fee waivers available upon request) ~ Lunch is provided

International House of Blues Foundation
This spring, the International House of Blues Foundation invites 9th through 12th grade students to participate in Drawing Us Together, a visual arts exhibit and competition. Students will create original artworks inspired by this year's theme: The Arts Inspire Hope. Winners receive gift certificates for art supplies. Exhibits will take place at House of Blues venues and online at www.actionforthearts.org
