Travel to Spain!
Students will have the opportunity to travel to Spain during spring break 2011. Please see Ms. Devine in Room 222 or email her at jmdevine@cps.edu if you are interested. Sign up before March 31st, and you will get the special rate!!!!

Support your school, family and friends and celebrate our multi-cultural backgrounds! Tickets are $6, and $1 will be donated to Haiti. (We will also have a bucket for donations towards Chile available at the ticket counter). Food tickets will be available for purchase to try different foods from all over the world. You don’t want to miss the fantastic dance show representing the many ethnic clubs at Von Steuben!
Lottery Letters
Letters have been mailed to those incoming freshmen who were chosen by lottery. The letters went out on Friday, Mar. 12, 2010.
New Writing Center Student Tutors
Congratulations to the Writing Center's seven new student tutors! All Von students are encouraged to schedule a one-on-one conference for assistance with writing assignments in any subject. Tutors are available throughout the week during most lunch periods. Visit Room 116 for details and to make an appointment.
Von Steuben’s ST. Baldrick’s “Shaving Day” is Back!!
Our fundraisers have expanded throughout the years. In 2008, we raised $2,015.00 with 48 participants and in 2009 we raised $4,765.00 with 129 participants. For this year, our goal is to raise $5000.00. With the help of the Von Steuben staff and student body, we believe we can meet our goal and even go beyond it.
